COVID-19 Lateral Flow Self Tests

Hope you are keeping safe and well. Had my second jab a few months back so feeling better about the world (well… our little part of it) at the moment. Add to that Summer seems to be here so everything looks better in sunshine.

We continue to work with a number of clients assisting with both quality and regulatory requirements for their lateral flow COVID-19 self-tests. The main issue seems to be the lack of Notified Body Resource so there is a considerable backlog. Add to that the irony of a shortage of COVID-19 positive clinical samples for performance evaluation and the market is let’s say frustrated at the moment.

Hopefully with lower infection rates the rest of the industry can start moving back to normal. Even if it is a ‘new’ norma!.
